Schools and Youth Centre Tour
Experience "Activoté", an engaging and thought-provoking theatre production encouraging young people to gain confidence in their political agency. The play explores themes of youth empowerment, community responsibility, and personal growth through a dynamic blend of storytelling and physical theatre.
We aim to inspire young audiences to reflect on their role within their community and take active steps to make a positive difference.
Learning Stages directed and staged the piece, producing the tour, supplying set and props as well as a portable sound kit. Mentorship was also provided for two directing students, giving them a professional opportunity to test their skills and look at a devising focused form of creation.
We worked in close collaboration with local stakeholders to create this piece over a short timeframe while still maintaining excellence; so much so that teachers are already asking when the next one will be!
