GOLDEN HOUR: IMMERSIVE DINING EXPERIENCE

Inspired by sunset food sharing, such as Iftars, picnics and block parties, the centrepiece of the evening is a communal and magical rooftop meal at sunset. As you eat, characters from the recipes will draw you into their worlds and bring the dishes to life with stories and activities. At the end of the evening, you can reflect on your own memories of food and how it gives us a sense of belonging. This family-friendly event will leave you feeling fuller, both in your belly and your soul.
Learning Stages worked to help create this immersive experience, providing support across lighting, sound, infrastructure, crewing and more to creative this event over three weekends. This included building a temporary kitchen in a busy shopping centre, ensuring that the health & safety and standard of equipment was up to commercial grade, serving dishes cooked to a standard that was safe for the public.
We also installed a full lighting rig, generator, and technical control onto the roof of a busy and quite windy car park. This challenging site was enjoyed by all of the public that attended, enjoying a free four course meal and a fully immersive theatrical experience.
